"The Crew".

"The Crew"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~
Allan

Spent nine years in the army including three as an Armourer with the SAS Regiment. I think this has given him his "Wandering ways" Since getting out, he has spent most of his time commuting between Australia and South Africa, where he worked as a walking safari guide in Kruger National Park. Recently he started working with a major mining company here in Australia as an Emergency Services Officer.

Katherine

Our Family Civvie.

Happily married and living in Adelaide, works in the printing industry with her husband Scott. Seen here with a friends first born. She loves her dear old dad, and who could blame her.

Shirl

My poor long suffering wife of 32+ years.

Runs the house and finances, tries vainly to keep me under control. She has almost single handedly raised two "good kids" who have never given me a moments worry.

It takes a very special person to be a seaman's wife.

"Jolly Jack"

Absolutely detests the sea, but doesn't know any other way to earn a reasonable living. It wasn't always like that, but I guess the romance has gone out of it after 43 years.

No man would be a sailor who has contrivance enough to get himself into gaol; for to be in a ship is to be in a gaol with the chance of being drowned.

A man in a gaol has more room, better food and commonly better company.

Samuel Johnson.
